BUSINESS NEWS - Hartenbos added a new restaurant to its eatery catalogue with the grand opening of the Mochachos Mexican Chicken Fiesta Restaurant on Wednesday 16 September, a first for the entire Garden Route.
A line of excited customers quickly formed, extending past the restaurant's doors as soon as the clock struck 10:00.
Tammy and Jean du Plessis, a couple who had relocated from Benoni to Mossel Bay six years ago, were the first to place their order at Mochachos on Wednesday morning.
"We have been praying for six years for a Mochachos to open in Mossel Bay. There was no way I was going to miss the opening. The food is just too good!" says Tammy.

Known for its expertly flame-grilled chicken-based meals and fiery flavours, Mochachos' owner, Ruan Gebhardt, is ready to bring that familiarity to Hartenbos and the surrounding areas, while confidently adding his own unique experiences to the table.
An experienced businessman, Ruan fell in love with Mossel Bay and permanently relocated from Johannesburg for his next business venture in Hartenbos. "I've always loved Mochachos, and when the opportunity to open a restaurant here arrived, I couldn't say no," says Ruan.
Although he is new to the restaurant side of things, Ruan firmly believes in what he and his team have to offer. You may even see some familiar faces while visiting the restaurant - the staff are proud Mossel Bay and Hartenbos locals, ready to deliver the very best of themselves and Mochachos.

Ruan says he specifically sought out Mossel Bay and Hartenbos locals to join the team, believing they are the most qualified to serve their communities with pride, passion and integrity.
Before the restaurant's official opening, Ruan told Mossel Bay Advertiser that his team had trained in Johannesburg to learn the ins and outs of running a restaurant. The training was not only a lesson in how to manage a restaurant business, but it was also the first time many had travelled on a plane.
The excitement that was generated has not dissipated. Instead, it extended into Wednesday's preparations, creating an energetic buzz long before the doors opened.
The team is ready to fire up the grill, attend to their customers' every need, and deliver the very best, whether that be a deliciously crafted meal or an excellent standard of customer service.
The Hartenbos restaurant sets itself apart by creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere, from the colourful decor style, drawn from the stunning Mexican culture, to the staff's welcoming nature.
Have a seat and dive right into the creative menu. From burgers and shawarmas to the tantalising flavours of a Mexican burrito, chimichangas and fajitas, there is something for everyone.
The food is carefully prepared with only the freshest ingredients, ensuring not only a flavourful experience, but also healthy and nutritious meals.
