MOSSEL BAY BUSINESS NEWS - "There is no substitute for a local newspaper that is doing its job." With these words of the business tycoon Warren Buffet, Michelle Roux, the award-winning sales representative at the Mossel Bay Advertiser, concluded her presentation as one of the keynote speakers at this week's networking event hosted by the Mossel Bay Business Chamber.

Roux explained why products offered at the local newspaper provide a turnkey solution for marketing.

The networking event was held at Na Donker, one of the newly-opened venues at the ATKV Hartenbos Seefront.

The venue overlooks the ATKV Skoffelskuur and offers a number of event solutions, from wedding receptions to conferencing facilities.

There is also talk of hosting regular indoor sports events in the venue, following the success of a recent badminton national championship hosted at the venue.

New members of the Mossel Bay Business Chamber, Mickwer Construction and Karis Properties, were welcomed during the event.
