MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Situated within the beautiful Outeniquasbosch Wildlife Village, King’s College offers a unique learning environment where children can experience education in a setting that inspires curiosity and connection with nature.
The peaceful surroundings contribute to the school’s warm atmosphere and create a space where learners can thrive academically, socially and personally.
Since opening its doors in 2025, King’s College has continued to go from strength to strength, with growing learner numbers, expanding facilities, and an exciting new high school development all contributing to the school’s vision for the future.
What started as a dream to provide quality Christian education in a nurturing environment has quickly become one of the Garden Route’s fastest-growing independent schools.
As the school community continues to expand, King’s College remains committed to developing not only academic excellence but also character, confidence and a strong sense of purpose, grounded in the school’s core values of integrity, gratefulness, mindfulness and respect.
A significant milestone for the school is the expansion of its school facilities, with a brand-new building and sports fields currently under construction and scheduled for completion next year as we launch Grade 10.

The development reflects the growing demand from families seeking a supportive, values-driven environment where learners can continue their educational journey from the foundation phase through to high school.
The expansion forms part of the school’s broader vision to equip learners for life beyond the classroom.
The leadership team believes education should not only prepare children for exams, but also develop
young adults who demonstrate integrity, compassion and the ability to make a meaningful contribution to the world around them.
“Our growth is a reflection of the trust families place in our school,” says the leadership team at King’s College. “We are incredibly grateful for the support from parents and the wider community, and we remain committed to building a school where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.”
King’s College places strong emphasis on smaller classes and individual attention, allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships with learners while supporting their unique strengths and needs. The school’s Christian foundation remains central to its ethos, with Biblical values integrated into daily school life.

Beyond academics, learners are encouraged to participate in a wide range of sports and cultural activities that help build confidence, teamwork and resilience. From athletics and netball to public speaking, art and outdoor activities, learners are exposed to experiences that support holistic development.
With Grade RRR to Grade 10 admissions for 2027 now open, King’s College continues to attract growing interest from families across Mossel Bay and the Garden Route and remains committed to nurturing the whole child - mind, body and spirit - while continuing to build a learning environment where every learner has the opportunity to flourish.
