BUSINESS NEWS - Die Mosselbaai Munisipaliteit het SMEC (Raadgewende Ingenieurs) en Entsha Henra (Kontrakteur) aangestel vir die instandhouding van Hoof Pad 339 (MR 339) - Da Gama-, Marsh-, Michell- en Bland-strate in Mosselbaai.
Die aard van die werk behels die volgende:
•Vervanging van beskadigde randstene.
•Verwydering en terugplasing van bestaande 40mm asfaltlaag.
•Terug verf van bestaande padverfmerke.
Die volgende reëlings rakende die verkeersvloei sal van toepassing wees:
•Michell-straat sal tussen Marshstraat en Blandstraat vir 2 dae gesluit wees.
•Marshstraat vanaf Michellstraat tot by Kerkstraat sal vir ‘n tydperk van 7 dae eenrigting-verkeer wees.
•Marshstraat vanaf Kerkstraat tot by Louis Fourieweg gaan tweerigting verkeer bly met eenrigting verkeer per laan.
•Blandstraat vanaf Michellstraat tot by Kerkstraat sal vir ‘n tydperk van 7 dae een rigting verkeer wees.
•Die gedeelte van Marshstraat vanaf Alhof-rylaan (verkeersirkel by Spar) oor die brug wat Louis Fourieweg kruis tot by Plaza-laan word beplan om gedurende die nag voltooi te word.
In geval van ongunstige weersomstandighede sal hierdie werk uitgestel word sonder enige verdere kennisgewing en weer so spoedig moontlik hervat word.
U samewerking in dié verband sal waardeer word. Verskoning word aangebied vir enige ongerief wat lede van die publiek as gevolg van bogenoemde projek mag verduur. Vir enige verdere navrae is u welkom om die volgende persone te kontak:

NOTICE: MAINTENANCE OF MR339
The Mossel Bay Municipality has appointed SMEC (Consulting Engineers) and Entsha Henra (Contractor) for the Maintenance of Main Road 339 (MR339) -Da Gama, Marsh, Michell and Bland Streets in Mossel Bay.
The Scope of works include the following:
•Replace damaged kerbs.
•Milling and replacing the existing 40mm asphalt surfacing.
•Referencing and reinstating road markings.
The following arrangements regarding the accommodation of traffic will be applicable:
•Michell Street will be closed between Marsh Street and Bland Street for 2 days.
•Marsh Street from Michell Street to Church Street will be one-way traffic for a period of 7 days.
•Marsh Street from Church Street to Louis Fourie Road will stay two-way traffic but the traffic lanes will be reduced to one lane per direction.
•Bland Street from Michell Street to Church Street will be one-way traffic for a period of 7 days.
•Marsh Street from Alhof Drive (the circle at Spar) over the bridge to the Plaza Avenue, will be done after hours where possible.
Should inclement weather be experienced, work will be postponed without further notice and executed on the first available opportunity.
