The prize on offer is an all-expenses paid event for 100 guests, including venue hire, catering and Eden Valley wines to the value of R10 000, sponsored by ReedValley. This is ideal for a year-end event, engagement party, special birthday or any other celebration.
The Boma, a unique African style forest restaurant opened its doors at ReedValley on 16 December 2020 and has been a hit among visitors since. Already renowned for its Friday Braai Day events, as well as Saturday and Sunday breakfast and lunch buffets, The Boma is the place to be.
Only 50 participants will be allowed to enter The Boma Braai Battle, which will be developed into an annual calendar highlight at The Boma after its launch this year. The competition format will be presented in several heats during which a braai-off will take place. Although competitors will be sweating it out at the braai, guests can look forward to plenty of special offers on the day.
Competitors will be sponsored their kit, including an apron. Also, 50% of the adjudication will be done by three professional chefs. Three randomly selected guests enjoying the braai on the day will make up the other 50% of the vote.
