Gift of the Givers skenk voer
Volgens Ali Sablat van die rampverligtingsorganisasie Gift of the Givers, is die landbou in Suid-Afrika in 'n krisis met oproepe om hulp wat hul organisasie toenemend van regoor die ganse land bereik. Sedert 2015 het die droogte sy wurggreep op boere in die groter Mosselbaai-area verstewig. Damme, veral in die Herbertsdale-omgewing maar ook elders in die groter Mosselbaai is leeg en riviere wat altyddeur maar die lewensaar was, het lankal opgedroog.
