Mossel Bay residents develop Mathematical breakthrough program Ian Fihla (deputy principal of Garden Route) “Every learner deserves TOWERMATHS.” Professor Koop Lubbinge grew up in Holland during the Second World War He immigrated to South Africa in 1952. On retirement he moved to Mossel Bay and he decided to solve problems of counting, addition and subtraction. After a successful career in technology, engineering, science, business and academics he started to develop a program to solve the problem of teaching mathematics. After 12 years TOWERMATHS was ready to be introduced.
