Landmerk kry 'n nuwe baadjie
Die gewilde Santos Pavilion, eens 'n juweel in Mosselbaai se kroon, sal binnekort sy afgeleefde voorkoms afskud wanneer opknapwerk, wat tans binne en buite gedoen word, waarskynlik voor die einde van November voltooi word. Die pragtige ou klipgebou is op 24 April 1979 deur 'n brand in puin gelê, en hoewel dit pas voor daardie tyd as nasionale gedenkwaardigheid verklaar is, was daar by tye sterk aandrang ook van die munisipaliteit van daardie jare om die bouval liefs te sloop.
