Kolonel Pieterse lê die tuig neer
Na 38 jaar diens groet lt kol Pietie Pieterse die Suid-Afrikaanse Polisiediens. Hy het op Vrydag, 1 Julie by die kantoor van die Da Gamaskop-polisiesone aangekom, geklee in oorpak. Dit was simbolies van 1984 toe hy die eerste keer as polisieman opgeroep is. Op daardie dag in 1984 is hy met oorpak en al na Dyselsdorp om ingesweer te word.
