Mosselbaai en omgewing is met reg trots op sy seuns en dogters wat vir hulle elders 'n groot naam maak. Veral diegene wat internasionaal bekendheid verwerf soos die gholfer, Louis Oosthuizen. Oosthuizen het vroeër vandeesweek, nóg 'n eretitel gekry. Hy is op Hartenbos deur die ATKV as Afrikoon bekroon.
