MOSSEL BAY ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The Mossel Bay Arts Society is delighted to announce that it has secured a concert by the extremely popular international saxophonist, Andrew Young.
He will be performing some of the best-known songs from his album, Diamonds.
His soulful rendition of Cavatina elicits a wave of emotion from even the most stoic listener. The hauntingly beautiful Summertime and Somewhere over the Rainbow will make the audience realise they are listening to one of the most complete saxophonists of today.
Andrew says of this performance: "Like old friends these melodies have continued to accompany and inspire me throughout my touring career and travels, both home and abroad. Every one of these songs on the album has been, and still is, so very special to me. Each song a classic, each song a diamond!"
This is bound to be a popular concert and, with limited seating, booking is highly recommended.
It takes place at the Dias Museum on Friday, 6 March. The concert starts at 19:30. Doors open at 18:00.
Tickets - at R130 for members of the Arts Society, R150 for non-members and R30 for learners - are available from the Espresso Spot at the Dias Museum.
