The event started off with a welcoming free glass of wine and soon everyone made new friends, as Steve entertained with his lovely music.
The menu, prepared by Peperboom and Vera's Feast, had the guests enjoying African fusion food with the main course of sosaties, spinach quiche and pumpkin soufflé.
Steve was a member of Mondetta, a self-described 'world music group', with Gito Baloi (of Tananas) and Wendy Oldfield. He was also one of The Aquarian Quartet, consisting of Tony Cox, Syd Kitchen (deceased 2011) and Greg Georgiades.
