MOSSEL BAY ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - In another coup for Mossel Bay, the Arts Society has arranged for the 55-member Leipzig Symphonic Youth Orchestra, an award-winning, internationally acclaimed orchestra from Germany, to present an unmissable concert as part of the 2020 Dias Festival.
From Bach to Michael Jackson, the programme also features Wagner, Tannenhäuser, Shostakowich, Holst, the Beatles, a German march, a waltz - and much more. This is an amazing opportunity to experience a bona fide orchestra - right here in Mossel Bay.
As the society has managed to obtain a part-sponsorship for the concert, entry will be free of charge, but booking is essential.
Preference will be given at the door to ticket holders. To cover the vast cost of hosting and entertaining the 60-plus participants, the Arts Society appeals to attendees for a donation.
The concert takes place on Friday, 31 January, at the Dias Museum, starting at 19:30. Doors open at 18:00. Tickets can be obtained from Abé Meintjes at the Espresso Spot (in the Dias Museum) on week days between 09:00 and 15:00. Abé may be contacted on 083 268 3718.
