ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - The widower of the woman killed in a car accident caused by drunk actress Amy Locane is hoping to put the former Melrose Place star back behind bars
Locane was convicted of vehicular manslaughter and assault with an auto after killing 60-year-old Helene Seeman and seriously injuring her husband Fred while driving drunk in New Jersey in 2010.
She’s now free, after serving a three-year sentence, and the Seemans are convinced she should have spent longer behind bars.
Fred Seeman’s attorney, Raymond Silverman, tells Entertainment Weekly, “While it has been a long ordeal for the Seeman family, they remain resolute in seeing Ms. Locane and any other responsible parties brought to justice.”
Meanwhile, Locane, 45, is trying to live as normal a life as possible while she awaits news of a civil trial and whether she’ll have to go back to jail, and admits the night she got behind the wheel of her sports utility vehicle, while more than three times over the legal limit, was “the biggest mistake I ever made in my life”.
