ENTERTAINMENT NEWS - Karin Dor has died aged 79.
The Bond girl, best known for portraying flame-haired villain Helga Brandt alongside Sir Sean Connery in You Only Live Twice, passed away at her home in Germany this week.
Her son told German newspaper Bild that she died at a care home in Munich.
Last year, she suffered a heavy fall and failed to recover from the injuries.
In 1967 movie, Dor's character Helga/ No. 11 was a SPECTRE assassin and secretary to Japanese industrialist Mr. Osato (Teru Shimada).
Helga was sent to kill Connery 's 007 alter-ego but she was seduced by him instead.
Things didn't end well for her character as Blofeld - played by Donald Pleasence - opened a trap door which dropped her into a pool filled with piranhas as punishment for failing to do away with Bond.
