MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Arts Society is delighted to confirm that it has secured a concert by the Charl du Plessis Trio.

Charl, South Africa's very own Mr Piano Man, will be delighting the audience with Opposites Attract - a concert which celebrates vocal music - without a vocalist in sight.

The trio will be presenting some of the world's most popular opera arias alongside evergreen songs from the world of jazz.

The programme will include works from Verdi, Rossini and Mozart, as well as the easy sounds of songs such as C-Jam Blues, Django and Duke Ellington's Caravan.

The concert is on 20 October at 19:30. Doors open at 18:30.

As this is sure to be a popular concert, early booking is recommended.

Tickets - at R100 per person for members of the Arts Society, R120 for non-members and R30 for scholars - may be purchased from Abé Meintjes (083 268 3718).
