POOL NEWS - The Mossel Bay blackball doubles final for the year was played on Saturday, 4 March, at a venue in Dana Bay.
Play was of the highest standard. Servaas Coetzee and Danie Swart took an early lead of 5 - 1 before JC Visser and Brian Ely started with an exceptional fight back.
The score went to 5 - 4 before Coetzee and Swart could see the match out for a 7 - 5 win, to be crowned the victors.
The referees for the final were Michael Steenkamp and Bianca Verster and they did an excellent job handling the doubles final.
Once again, the Mossel Bay Pool League showed off the huge talent of its players and also of its well-trained referees.
