MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay resident Dian Koekemoer's birthday falls on 18 July - Mandela Day.

He celebrated his third birthday with his friends at ACVV Sandkasteel Crèche in Heiderand.

Dian said his special deed on Mandela Day was giving lollipops to his friends at the crèche.

"They can all come to get one from me," he said.

Sandkasteel showed its support for Mandela Day with a display outside the crèche of hand prints by the children in bright colours, together with two large gold balloons, figures six and seven, next to each other. People are encouraged to spend 67 minutes serving others on Mandela Day.
