MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Garden Route SPCA Mossel Bay branch's clip-and-dip drive on Saturday 24 October saw about 50 dogs receiving treatment.
The drive, which was held at the branch's premises in Bill Jeffery Street, invited people from the greater Mossel Bay area to bring their dogs to the SPCA for a free dip and nail clipping.
These two things are an important part of keeping your dog parasite-free and comfortable.
The SPCA staff assisted with the dips and clips, while the other staff members gave educational talks to the many children who came along with their pets.
The children learnt how to read their pets, treat them and look after them properly. The staff also played a few games with the children.
The SPCA's charity shop was also open that day, and handed clothes out for free to whoever brought their dogs in.
