MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Out of 10 finalists, two Mossel Bay contestants came first and second in the Miss Eden FM pageant at the crowning in George yesterday evening, 10 September.
Zoë Fortuin, a learner at Hillcrest Secondary School in Mossel Bay, took the crown and Courtney Williams, a Mossel Bay local, currently studying in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), was first princess.
In third place was Phoebe Koopman of George.
Phoebe also won Miss Charity as part of the pageant for the list of good deeds she had done, donations she had organised and funds she had raised for charity.
Although still at school, Zoë acts and does monologues in her spare time and Courtney also acts and models.
The are both signed with Mossel Bay talent agent Frieda van der Walt.
A short film, My Father, My Responsibility, in which Courtney has the lead role, premiered in George yesterday afternoon.
Prizes in Miss Eden FM included free radio presenter coaching; photo shoots; clothing, hair and perfume vouchers; beauty products; free modelling and acting contracts; discounts on modelling classes; and weekend accommodation.
