Female bikers gathered at the Marshmallow Garden Café near George yesterday morning from where the convoy of about 20 motorcycles headed to Mossel Skuur in Aalwyndal, Mossel Bay.
The organiser of the event, Liza van Dyk, said the day was a huge success, leaving attendees both impressed and grateful. The event was filled with many exciting surprises and prizes.
The first instalment of this ride, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, was begun in Toronto, Canada, by its founder, Vicki Grey, and has since gained traction across the globe.

Van Dyk previously told Mossel Bay Advertiser she had started organising the event in August or September last year, shortly after she had been diagnosed with cancer of the bladder.
Her diagnosis had not stopped her from pulling together an event she had hoped would not only showcase the beauty of the Garden Route community, but also put the Garden Route on the international map.
