GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service (Saws) has released its latest weather forecast for Wednesday, 11 December 2024. 

Fire danger warning

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Namakwa in the Northern Cape, in parts of the West Coast District, Beaufort West, Eastern parts of the Cape Winelands and Little Karoo municipalities today. 

There is also a fire danger warning issued for the eastern parts of Namakwa, and in Central Karoo except for Prince Albert Municipality in the Western Cape tomorrow, Thursday 12 December.

Weather warnings

A yellow level 1 warning for damaging wind leading to difficulty in navigation at sea, and small vessels at risk of capsising is expected between Table Bay and Plettenberg Bay from Thursday late afternoon into Friday, 13 December.
