MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A fundraising evening involving entertainment by local musicians, took place at Sandpiper in Boggomsbaai in aid of the Seabird and Penguin Rehabilitation Centre (SAPREC) outside Mossel Bay.
Kruger and Co attorneys were pivotal to the event.
SAPREC, at Mossdustria, off the N2 on the way to Cape Town, is run mainly by volunteers. The operation of this facility is of vital importance to assist with the conservation of the endangered African penguin.
The costs of running SAPREC are high. Without funding from business and the private sector the facility cannot operate.
