MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Rotary club of Mossel Bay inducted its new president, Andries Potgieter, at the Transkaroo Restaurant in Great Brak River on Friday, 5 July.
Potgieter is the 68th president of the Rotary Club.
The club was also thrilled to induct a new member, Dr Enrico Gennari, director of the Oceans Research Institute, at the same event. Potgieter said during his induction speech that he was looking forward to continuing the good work that Rotary has done in the Mossel Bay community.
The Rotary Club is involved in several different community projects such as retirement homes, crèches, SPCA food donations, Santa shoebox and Madiba day projects, to name just a few. Members of the public are welcome to make contact with the club via its facebook page if they wish to join, or learn more about the work Rotary is involved with in the community.
