GREAT BRAK RIVER NEWS - A 20-year old man from Zone 14 in Great Brak River has been murdered for allegedly stealing a television.
The deceased, Gordon Mokotedi, was dragged from his house in Zone 14 on Saturday afternoon, 22 June.
Eye witnesses told police Mokotedi was then left in the street after he was stabbed with a sharp object and his throat partially slit.
It is alleged Mokotedi stole a television belonging to the suspect, a 22-year-old, on Friday evening, 21 June.
Police say Mokotedi also allegedly tried to burn the suspect's house down. Mokotedi was declared dead at the scene and the suspect will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on a charge of murder.
