MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The semi-finals of the popular Mossel Bay's Got Talent showcase were held at the Bravo Lounge this past weekend.

The showcase is in its ninth year and is the only competition presented by a municipality in the Eden district.

In an extravaganza of talent on Saturday, 38 acts with more than 50 participants were seen by judges and supporters. Performances were explosive and participants worked hard to impress not only the judges but their fans as well.

In the end, the judges could only send a few through to the final.

The finalists are: Mental Code, Siphosihle, Soulistic Harmonies, Masithembe, Refrecs, RAIN, Joe, Kid Danger, DRG, The young one, Rap Stars, D' Trix, Six style dance crew, King Bars, Amor, Zukhanye, Team Afshow, Major, A.T, Crimson Hozay and Duran Jooste.

"The organisers thank Bravo Lounge for a night to be remembered by all," says Yolande van Aswegen of the Mossel Bay Municipality Youth Desk.

From now on the finalists will engage in workshops and rehearsals to put on a spectacular on the stage on 16 June at 12:00 at the Mossel Bay Town Hall. Entry is free.
