MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - Last weekend, a 25-year-old man was brutally killed in a bundu court in KwaNonqaba. He allegedly raped a five-year-old girl.
Shortly thereafter, a double murder, of a 30-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, took place in Asla Park. The suspect was the woman's boyfriend.
"We have had enough. Violence against women and children in Mossel Bay is a bigger pandemic than Covid-19," says a community activist, Blessing Fasi, who called for a community meeting on Wednesday, 14 October.
More than 500 men and women attended the gathering at Garden Route Primary School. "We want a resolution and we will keep on working on it," Fasi said.
