MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A 28-year-old man will make his first court appearance in the Mossel Bay Magistrates Court tomorrow on Tuesday, 13 October on two counts of murder.
This follows an incident in Kanonkop Street, Asla Park, yesterday morning.
Police say they were called to the scene at around 01:20 where an injured 32-year-old woman was lying on the ground with multiple stab wounds. A 30-year-old man was also injured with a stab wound to the chest.
It is believed that the woman and the 28-year-old suspect were involved in an argument when he stabbed her all over her body.
The 30-year-old man tried to intervene but was stabbed in the heart. He was declared dead on the scene.
The woman died in Mossel Bay hospital later yesterday morning.
The suspect handed himself over to the KwaNonqaba police at around 08:00 the same day. He remains in custody and faces two charges of murder.
