MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Dana Bay's favourite liquor store has proven that festive season shopping can really pay off.
Mi Liquors @ Danabaai, part of the Mi Liquors group since 2020, has grown into a proud local fixture, backed by the strength of a national brand while keeping its roots firmly in the local community.
During the recent Mi Liquors national festive promotion, which ran from 19 November to 31 December with the total prize money of R150 000 in cash, the customers entered by purchasing selected products and uploading their till slips via a QR code.
The competition gathered thousands of entries nationwide.
One local customer, who has asked to remain anonymous and was thus affectionately dubbed 'Mr Joe Niemand', did his Christmas shopping at Mi Liquors @ Danabaai and chose a bottle of quality KWV Brandy, one of the qualifying products for the competition.
When the national draw took place, this loyal supporter was announced as the grand prize winner of R100 000 in cash. A life-changing 'investment' in festive cheer and a testament to the saying that you cannot catch anything if you do not have a line in the water!
Mi Liquors @ Danabaai congratulated Mr Niemand on his remarkable win and extended a heartfelt thanks to the Mi Markits Group, the Dana Bay community and the visitors for their continued support and enthusiastic participation in the competition.
