Noweyitala's 99th Birthday celebrations
The community of KwaNonqaba celebrated a huge milestone yesterday, 28 April when one of the community’s matriarchs turned 99 years old. Noweyitala Sitonga Kanakana was born in 1923 and married Velile Kanakana in 1942. She has seven (7) children , 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren .
