Mos Jazz Festival off to a roaring start

MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The 2018 Mos Jazz Festival, hosted at De Bakke Beach the first time in Mossel this weekend, kicked off last night. 

Despite the slightly cooler weather, the crowd was enthusiastic to enjoy the sterling line up including South African icon, Dr Victor.

Among the top names at the Mos Jazz Festival are jazz and Afro pop singer Judith Sephuma; 2005 Idols winner Karin Kortje; Cameron Ward, former guitarist of the late Hugh Masekela; The Rockets, evergreen musicians who are celebrating 50 years together; and bass player Jonathan Rubain. 

The festival concludes on Sunday, 25 March. With Nedbank sponsoring the event, the Mos Jazz Festival forms part of the bank’s commitment to doing good in communities, specifically to grow entrepreneurs.
