MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEOS - This morning braving the bitter cold, representatives of 10 early child development centres hosted a peaceful protest at the intersection of Louis Fourie Road and Melkhout Street in Heiderand.
These centres have been closed since 17 March. ECD centres have been particularly hard hit during the lock down, seeing many centres closing down and causing further unemployment.
The protest action was part of a national call to action which started on 10 August to demand that a social continuity grant be paid out to staff working in this field.
