MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Family and friends of Yongama Msindo (35), fatally stabbed in Mayekiso Street, Endlovini, in Asla Park on 6 April, this week told of his warm, vibrant personality.
They said he made people laugh, wherever he went, and he will be missed.
Silindile Quku, the spokesperson for the family, said Msindo grew up in the Eastern Cape and moved to Mossel Bay a few years ago.
He said Msindo had a good sense of humour and led a life filled with laughter.
"He was very talented and he worked hard.
"Everything he had in life, he worked for and he enjoyed being creative. He liked to make and paint things for his home in his spare time," said Quku.
"Yongama was a lover of sport. He was a big supporter of Orlando Pirates. He also enjoyed playing sports whenever he could, especially soccer," he said.
Chairperson for the Orlando Pirates Supporters' Club Mossel Bay branch, Zanoxolo Nkomombini, said Yongama was a founder member of the branch.

Man with the vibe
"We travelled all over to games and the launches of other branches. He was the man with the vibe," said Nkomombini.
"His death is a great loss to us. He led us in singing all our songs.
"He was always at the front, creating the vibe, making sure everyone was having fun," he said.
A memorial service was held for Yongama in Mossel Bay on Saturday, 12 April. His funeral is this Saturday, 19 April, in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape.
Arrests
Two minors, aged 16 and 17, were arrested shortly after Yongama was killed. They were expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 16 April.
The outcome of their court appearance was not known by the time of going to print.
Fatal stabbing on 29 March
On 29 March, 31-year-old Mluleki Debula was declared dead, with a stab wound to his upper body. The incident took place in Dywili Street, Asla Park.
An hour after the murder, police arrested 28-year-old Lupho Manxiweni.
He was expected to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, 15 April, for a formal bail application. It was postponed to 5 May.
The Mossel Bay Advertiser is trying to contact the family for comment.
Fatal stabbing on 2 April
Siviwe Jacobs (33) was fatally stabbed in Giyani informal settlement, KwaNonqaba, on the afternoon of 2 April.
Sibongile Gcaza (29) was arrested on Monday, 7 April.
He appeared in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, 9 April. The matter was postponed to 5 May for a formal bail application.
