MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The two men, aged 27 and 31, who are accused of the rape of a 25-year-old woman in Asla Park have both abandoned their bail applications during their latest court appearance on Tuesday 27 January.
The case has been ongoing since their arrest shortly after the incident took place in September last year.
The KwaNonqaba Police Station’s spokesperson, Warrant Officer Kappie Kapp, previously told Mossel Bay Advertiser that the woman had allegedly received a lift from one of the accused after a party in the early hours of 26 September, and that he took her to his home where he and his friend allegedly raped her.
The men will reappear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court on 26 February.
