MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Mossel Bay Advertiser has been reliably informed that a child was hit by a vehicle on Louis Fourie Road between KwaNonqaba and Heiderand this afternoon.
This is the fourth child to be hit by a vehicle in the greater Mossel Bay area in just over two months.
It is not clear at this stage if this incident is linked to the two-vehicle accident in Louis Fourie Road in Heiderand just before 17:00 today, 7 August.
The Mossel Bay Municipality posted on its Facebook page that a crew from its fire, rescue and disaster management services had responded to an accident involving two cars.
A media query has been sent to the police. The Advertiser will update its readers once more information becomes available.
A reliable source has told the Advertiser that the child has been taken to hospital. The nature of the child's injuries has not been confirmed.
