MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - The Miss Pre-Teen Universe SA title holder, Rosie Venter (14), who is a Mossel Bay resident, will be engaging in and organising activities to uplift young people during June, which is Youth Month.
She is organising two pageants for teenage girls.
The finals of the pageants, Miss Junior Youth for 13 to 15 year olds and Miss Youth for 16 to 18 year olds, will take place on 13 June.
There will also be Miss Personality and Miss Photogenic contests within these pageants.
Collaborating
Rosie is collaborating with Sergeant Lauriane Botha of the Great Brak River Police Station in her youth outreach efforts.
The two did an outreach to the community in Friemersheim previously, where Rosie gave a talk and interacted with children in the community.

The pageants will be in line with Rosie's Pink Out Loud with Rosie campaign.
The P in Pink stands for "be positive", the "i" is for innocence, the "n" is for being natural and the "k" is for kindness.
Rosie will give the pageant entrants tips on how to walk like a model, how to embrace their natural beauty and how to take care of their skin and nails and apply make-up.
Help community
The kindness part of the coaching will deal with how to help one's community. Rosie will also speak on having a positive attitude, not smoking, vaping or drinking and how to resist peer pressure.
She has been collecting donations of school shoes and has handed out shoes to children in need.
If anyone would like to donate school shoes from size three upwards, they are welcome to.
Rosie would also like to hand out gentlyused clothes, stationery, baby diapers and sanitary wear for girls.
