MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The home of a suspect in a murder that took place in KwaNonqaba was set alight by angry members of the community earlier today.
The incident follows the fatal stabbing of a man in the New Rest informal settlement on Sunday, 29 December.
Upon the police’s arrival to investigate the crime, members of the community attacked the suspect and proceeded to set his home alight.
The suspect was taken into custody by the KwaNonqaba Police and taken to hospital for medical treatment. He has since been released into police custody and will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate’s Court.
