MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Da Gamaskop Police hosted an imbizo with members of the Hartenbos Sector 2 community on Wednesday, 1 December.

During the last few months there was an increase in burglaries at residential premises as well as robberies with a firearm and knives in certain areas of the Da Gamaskop precinct.

Information regarding these incidents and initiatives to be preventative were shared.

"The South African Police Services thanks the community policing forum and community for their participation in the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children from 25 November to 10 December," says station commander, Colonel Khutala Masakala

"A special project will also commence on 8 December at Hartenbos Seefront. Your presence and input will be highly appreciated."
