MOSSEL BAY RUGBY NEWS - The SWD Rugby Football Union last year hosted a successful rugby festival on behalf of SuperSport and SA Rugby in Mossel Bay, with the assistance of the Mossel Bay Municipality and other stakeholders.
As part of this initiative, SWD Rugby donated rugby jerseys to primary schools in the Mossel Bay area. Each school received two sets of high quality rugby jerseys in the school colours.
The following Mossel Bay primary schools were the beneficiaries in this project: Diaz, Ridgeview, Erika, TM Ndanda, Isalathiso, Imekhaya, All Saints, Garden Route and St Blaize.
SWD Rugby Football Union spokesperson Martin de Vos says: "This is a means of assisting schools to keep the game of rugby alive at grassroots level and to promote rugby."
