GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The South African Weather Service (Saws) has released its latest weather forecast for Tuesday, 27 May.
The weather service hasn’t issued any severe weather alerts for Tuesday, but South Africans can expect fine and cool weather across most provinces.
Here’s what you need to know:
Western Cape:
Cloudy over the central and eastern parts in the morning, otherwise fine and cool to warm but partly cloudy in east. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to easterly but strong along the south-west and south coast from the afternoon. The expected UVB sunburn index: Moderate
Eastern Cape (western half):
A chance of light morning rain is expected in places, except in the north-east, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to cold but cloudy along the coast. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly, becoming moderate to fresh north-easterly in the afternoon.
Eastern Cape (eastern half):
Partly cloudy in the north, otherwise cloudy and cool to cold with isolated showers and rain south of the escarpment but scattered along the Wild Coast. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh south-easterly, becoming north-easterly from the afternoon.
