MOSSEL BAY NEWS - A retired pharmacist has said he may have a solution for a Mossel Bay baby suffering from cystic fibrosis.
On 22 June the Mossel Bay Advertiser published an article about the baby, Layla-Rose Lourens. Cystic fibrosis is a progressive illness in which sufferers have a build-up of mucus, bacteria and moulds. They are unable to eliminate these the way normal people can, so they are prone to infections.
Their breathing becomes more and more difficult and sometimes they must undergo a lung transplant.
The pharmacist advocates the use of a machine, called a Rife Resonator, which sends out gentle electric currents.
The machine is based on the findings of Royal Rife, an inventor who devised a special microscope.
The Rife Resonator has a different frequency for different diseases and a plethora of conditions and illnesses are in the list that the machine is supposedly able to combat.
Although many in the traditional medical fraternity - especially in the United States - have slated the machine and said there is no proof it works, it is used by alternative health care practitioners, even by a number of them based here on the Garden Route. The machine is banned in the United States.
The former pharmacist who spoke to the Mossel Bay Advertiser, George Schwulst, says he is a walking testimony of the efficacy of the machine. George is 79 and does not wear glasses and he does not suffer from arthritis or diabetes or any other age-related illnesses. On the Rife Resonator, there are settings for improving "visual acuity" and preventing eyesight deteriorating.
Some of the conditions or diseases the machine is said to be able to treat or alleviate the symptoms of include cystic fibrosis, warts, arthritis, sinusitis, eczema, diabetes, epilepsy, tuberculosis, migraines and fibromyalgia.
George says that after only two treatments with the Rife Resonator, he was no longer allergic to cats and dogs after having been allergic for years.
He said his granddaughter, who had unsightly warts on her fingers, had no warts at all in a month after being treated with the machine.
George also says he has direct experience of or has heard of people being cured of cancers, migraines and epilepsy.
The machine has settings for eliminating toxins and parasites and for supporting the liver, kidneys and pancreas.
A number of practices offering treatment appear if one does an internet search for the Rife Resonator.
