MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The case against a 49-year-old man from George, accused of the rape of three minor girls, has reached a pretrial conference in the Mossel Bay Regional Court.
The accused will appear in court again on Thursday 19 March, when the conference is expected to begin.
Because of the nature of the allegations against him, the accused'd identity cannot be revealed.
The rapes are believed to have occurred in the Great Brak River area in 2021. At the time, the victims were between the ages of 13 and 15.
The accused was arrested in 2023 and was later denied bail during a previous court appearance. He has remained in police custody since.
