MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The annual Mossel Bay Sailing club sail-past took place in the bay today in extremely calm conditions.
The sail-past marks the official start of the sailing season each year.
It was overcast and although it was cold and it looked as if it could rain at any moment, no drops fell.
At the same time the Skipper Foundation non-profit organisation held a Try out Sailing opportunity for all who wish to learn about sailing for free.
This launched from Munro Beach.

It was also the annual Bart's Bash international sailing race today and Mossel Bay was one of the venues worldwide for this race.
The yachts made a colourful display in the bay.
