MOSSEL BAY NEWS AND VIDEO - The team from Find Your Stoke entertained children from Carpe Diem School and Up With Downs school at Santos Beach in Mossel Bay on Tuesday, 26 November.
Founder of Find Your Stoke (a registered non-profit organisation), Tasha Mentasti, with surf coaches and volunteers, took the children on to the beach to experience the beach, the water and a ride on a surfboard.
"We may not look the same as you. We may not talk the way you do. We may not walk the way you do.
"But we also love the things you do." Although most of these children cannot even speak these four sentences, this is surely the words they would want you to know about their world.
Eden Surfriders hosted the event and Spar Pacaltsdorp in George sponsored all the food and refreshments.
Tasha thanked the Western Cape Government for its support.

The plan is to involve more schools, surf coaches and volunteers to host more surf therapy sessions in the Eden District in 2020.
