MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The first of three rounds of the Mossel Bay Business Tennis Tournament took place at the Mossel Bay Tennis Club on 8 November.

Spirits were high as teams arrived at the club and not even strong winds could keep the players off the courts.

With three-time winners team Spec Savers being the team to beat, all the other teams upped their game and played excellent tennis.

Some of the local school players took on the older players and surprised them with their skill and high energy levels.

The league also welcomed more women this time round. All matches work on a time challenge format that allows players to accumulate points that add up to a total team point per round.
