MOSSEL BAY NEWS - Fitness fanatics and those seeking a good reason to beat winter lethargy are being offered the ideal opportunity to jump into action.
Oxigim Mossel Bay is hosting a charity drive called Sweat Fest 2018 in aid of a little girl, Alba Jacobs Overbeeke, suffering from leukaemia as well as the Mossel Bay Care Centre, which assists learners in the greater Mossel Bay area.
The event will take place tomorrow, Saturday 1 September from 10:00 and entails a TRX and step challenge open to 38 participants.
To enter, it costs R100 per person and spectators will pay R50. All proceeds will be donated to making a difference in the lives of those needing it most.
Apart from doing good while sweating it out, participants stand the chance of winning prizes to the value of R25 000 in total. Leading up to the actual event, a donation box is available at the gym for those who would like to make a contribution in advance.
