MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Spring Classic is well underway in Mossel Bay today, 25 September as athletes from all over the country congregate at the Diaz Beach Resort and Hotel to strut their stuff.

The event saw the introduction today of the first ever children’s category where local lads and lasses as young as five years old were invited to compete.

Arnie Williams, President of the IBFF explains that the federation launched this initiative globally and has been very active developing athletes in and around Gauteng an Mpumalanga last year. He said that they are keen to develop this initiative in the Southern Cape in 2022.

The youngest winner of this morning’s children’s division is Aaron Baron, a Grade 1 learner from Park Primary.

The adult categories have been scheduled for this afternoon.
