MOSSEL BAY NEWS - The Mossel Bay Bowls Club held its Bowlsfest Business League Tournament from 21 October, with the final round and prize giving taking place on 11 November.
The tournament was sponsored by Spes Bona Motors and the Mossel Bay Bowls Club thanks Jan Senekal for his sponsorship and support.
There were 24 teams who entered, with good competitive bowls played by all the teams over the four weeks. At the end of round four, after an evening of tense but excellent bowls, Primapart had a deserved win with 43 points, with Dolphin Café a close second on 42 points.
Embroidery Haven and Needles and Pins finished third and fourth on 39 and 37 points respectively.
A big thank you also goes to Midas, Build It, Eigelar Marine, Embroidery Haven and RM Consultants for their sponsorship.
Without the support of these local businesses, the tournament would not have been the success it turned out to be.
