MOSSELBAY NEWS & VIDEOS - The Mossel Bay Ironman competition was won by Francisco Javier Gomez Noya today, Sunday 19 November.

In second place was Matt Trautman and in third place Nicholas Quenet.

The competition was contested in perfect conditions today. The sea was placid at Santos Beach, and the sea temperature so warm - 22°C - that no wetsuits were needed.

An almost windless ride was contested by the cyclists. The humidity was just a little high.
The run concluded the race.

Sadly Bradley Weiss, last year's winner in Mossel Bay, pulled out of the race during the cycling leg due to flu symptoms.
