MOSSEL BAY SPORT NEWS - The 17th Grootbrak Grabadoo, taking place on Tuesday, 31 December, will draw over 1 300 cyclists, runners and walkers, 64% of whom come from outside the Western Cape and will add over R100 000 to the economy of Great Brak.
The Grootbrak Grabadoo is one of the biggest cycling events in the area and the perfect way to say goodbye to the old year.
Runners, walkers, families and even pets can participate in the most beautiful walk in the Garden Route, South Africa, around the Great Brak River in a 4.8km route.
Mountain bikers can choose from four exciting routes which includes some wonderful twists and turns in the forest – 15km, 36km, 53km, and 71km.
The MTB starts at 07:00, with the different distances starting at three-minute intervals, and the fun walk/run starts at 07:15.

Pre-entries can be done at the Great Brak Sport grounds, 67 Lang Street, Great Brak River from 08:00 to 17:00 on Monday, 30 December. Late entries can be done at the starting point at Great Brak Sport grounds from 06:00 to 06:45 on 31 December before the first race commences at 07:00.
Entry forms will be available from 1 December at Vodacom offices in the Garden Route and Klein Karoo, as well as Port Elizabeth; pre-entries from the 1 December Mossel Bay Tourism, De Kaap Estates in Grootbrak or Coimbra Cycle House in George.
